A little about me, I was born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina and I grew up with a love of antiquing and beautiful landscapes. I am from a large family where Sundays consisted of faith and fellowship. Not venturing too far from home, I went to college at Appalachian State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. This brought me to Charleston, SC, where I had plans to attend graduate school. However, I pursued my passion for helping others and went back to school to become a nurse. I have worked in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and most recently in nursing management. I recently put my career on hold to pursue a life as a stay at home mom, all while blogging and sharing my interests along the way.
I do not have a degree in interior design, nor do I call myself an interior designer. I am a decor enthusiast that loves sharing my ideas with the world. Living on the coast influences my design choices and brings life to my blog.
If you have expensive taste and live on a budget, you are in the right place. You will find a mix of home decor, DIY, lifestyle, and authentic motherhood shared here.
