I love asking my followers on Instagram, “what decor inspiration would you like to see next?” I received several requests to design a baby girl nursery. I put together this inspiration to work for both nurseries and toddler rooms! It was fun incorporating bunnies into the design without it feeling like a “themed” room. Also, it still has a soft and serene coastal feel that I like to use in all of my design boards.

Furniture
It is easy to splurge and save when purchasing furniture. There are several high end retailers that cater to children’s furniture. If the items I shared are not in your price range, some great places to look are Walmart, Target, and Wayfair. I have shared several splurge and save options below.

Rugs
I like to start with a rug and design most of the room around it. When I saw this Joanna Gaines for Anthropologie Ruby Rug, I knew exactly how I wanted to use it. This quickly became my focal point of the room, adding pastel and neutral touches to compliment it.

Decor + Art
Another great starting point when designing a room is to find a great piece of art, then find pieces to compliment it. I recently connected with Michelle Brunner and she gave me permission to use one of her sailboat paintings in my design. I love the pastel colors and coastal vibes it gives the room. Bunnies in a coastal room? Totally doable here!

Lighting
Lighting is my favorite part of a room. This is your chance to step out of your comfort zone and try something fun for a little girl. I love these fringe chandeliers that are very affordable!

Putting this room together was so much fun. NO, we are not trying for another girl and NO, we have no plans to have another baby. I’m just living through my followers and sharing baby girl inspiration for every one of you. Don’t forget to tune in tomorrow for a fun DIY art post!
