One of our most neglected rooms in our home is our guest room. I have started putting together mood boards for this room and want to share my ideas. While I wish we could splurge all day long, I’m sharing inspiration to save as well. I love the look of Mcgee & Co., Serena & Lily, Ro Sham Beaux, & Pottery Barn. Unfortunately my favorite stores are not always within the budget, so here are ways to splurge and save on items for your coastal inspired rooms.

We have no shortage of amazing lighting stores here in Charleston. Some of those come with a hefty price tag. I love the look of these chandeliers, at a cheaper price!
While I wish I could sleep on the most divine bedding, it’s not always an option to splurge. Here are some of my favorite items to achieve that expensive, “I live in luxury look.”
Refinishing a few pieces of furniture for the room using these techniques will help save money when outfitting a room. Not into DIY? Search your local Facebook Marketplace or Craiglist. Some of my favorite online retailers for furniture include Wayfair, Joss & Main, Overstock, Birch Lane, and Ballard. I feel like these stores have lower price points than their competitors.
Decor & Accessories
I love achieving a serene and coastal look using natural accents and watercolor prints. Emily Jeffords is one of my favorite artists to follow and I love her affordable prints on Minted. You can also find decently priced digital prints on Etsy and have those printed by Fedex, UPS, mPix, and Frame It Easy. I currently have a coupon code to Frame It Easy, 10% off your purchase using “AMY,” expires 10/22/19.
I hope these splurge and save items were helpful for you and I look forward to making this a regular post! Have a great Monday!
