Inspiration Mood Board
I shared our design mood board for our living room makeover earlier in the week. My goal for this room was to liven up the space with white furniture and incorporate more blue into the room. While most of our furniture has not arrived yet, I couldn’t wait to reveal the coffee table! Be on the lookout for the rest of our decor soon.
Downing Round Coffee Table
The Downing Round Coffee Table is so pretty in person. It is large and super sturdy. Occasionally round tables will wobble but this one does not move an inch. I do not have to worry about the kids climbing on it and knocking it over. It is constructed from maple veneer and has tapered angular legs that provide a base that’s airy and unique.
Why the Downing Coffee Table?
I have wanted a coffee table for the longest time! I went back and forth while deciding what kind of coffee table to include in this room. What are some things that I considered while making the decision? Our family needed a coffee table that is kid friendly without sharp corners. I also wanted something durable. I love the look of woven natural style coffee tables and ottomans, but I am concerned about their durability with children. Therefore, I ordered this chic white table from Serena & Lily.
Styling our Coffee Table
One of the reasons I wanted a large coffee table like this is because I love having another surface to decorate. Because it is large, I was able to divide it into four sections. Each section includes coastal items and large coffee table books. I also incorporated a natural tray and oversized wood beads. I love having a central focal point with several conversation starters!
