Spring Porch Makeover, with Blue and Natural Accents
Thank you Wayfair for sponsoring this post, please read our disclosures here.
It’s porch season in the Lowcountry and I’m so excited to share some of my favorite outdoor finds with you today from Wayfair. With three active kiddos, we love spending time outside and a lot of our mornings begin on the front or back porch, hot coffee in hand. Keep reading to hear all about how I spruced up our outdoor spaces for the spring season with just a little help from Wayfair.
Spring Porch Makeover
For our spring porch makeover, I planted several ferns in pots and touched up our planters with vines that spill over. I also replaced our front door rug with a natural mat. Finally, I ordered a splash of blue and put a blue metal bistro set on the screened in porch. You’ll also find ideas for decorating your porch near the end!
Outdoor Door Mat
Our double front doors are one of my favorite parts of our exterior, so I’m always looking for items that help to really show them off and create a warm, inviting welcome to our home. I love having double doors because they let in so much light, but finding a doormat that I liked and that was also wide enough proved to be a bit of a struggle.
Luckily, Wayfair had so many amazing options to fit our coastal aesthetic and many of them come in a wide variety of sizes. Don’t you love how this mat picks up the wooden rockers and ties in perfectly with our new decking and white exterior? Keep in mind, this rug is best used in areas protected from weather, like a covered porch.

Blue Bistro Garden Table & Chairs
I love a good coastal design and I can’t resist a splash of blue to really give off those coastal vibes. This bistro set is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast with my kids or an evening drink. Plus the color is absolutely perfect! I love the garden-esque feel it gives the back porch too. Not into blue? It comes in several other colors as well!
I’ve always loved gardening and designing pots and planters. I think adding plants always livens up a space and makes it feel especially inviting. These white concrete-look hanging planters are the perfect way to brighten up your porch or patio. I filled them with English ivy, white florals, and lamium to spill over.

Spring Porch Decor
One of my favorite ways to change decor through the seasons is to swap out rugs under a natural mat. While I decided to use only the natural mat for our spring porch, these rugs from Wayfair are great for layering in your outdoor space. Just be sure to read the description and confirm they’ll work for your setting!
