Coastal decor does not have to scream blue every single time. I gravitate towards blue in my home but you can also pull off a nice and neutral palate with terra-cotta and earthy tones. Here are a few examples, including blue and neutral for those of us who love that style!

Are you seeing double? I sure am, just not with the price. This is one of my favorite Earth toned rugs on the market right now. Loloi rugs are also a favorite because they are low pile and soft underfoot. I love layering these on top of a jute or large natural fiber rug.

Coastal Inspired Living Room Furniture

I have included several links for chairs and sofas, because I know these are staples in a home. What looks amazing might not be comfortable for you, so I like to give you options. I like to start with these, then build out with decor and accessories. I also stick to a neutral palette because whatever design theme works for us now might not work in 5 years. I will say, my favorite sofas are from Klaussner Home Furnishings. These are difficult to link because you need to order from a local supplier. I absolutely love our sofas in the living room, and they are Klaussner.

There are so many ways to incorporate a coastal feeling into your room using art and accessories. Think brass, natural wood, natural baskets, white washed, rattan, coastal art, and much more. Simply select a few neutral books for your bookshelf, add pottery or vases, and mix in coastal decor items. I love searching for pastel abstract art when decorating the walls.
