A Look Back at Last Year's Christmas Decor

Last year I selected a traditional tree to mimic the frasier fir Christmas trees grown in the mountains of North Carolina. I went with simple bows and traditional ornaments. I also aded beautiful gold harmony bells with simple cedar garland. A lot of the items used in last year’s Christmas decor are no longer made but do not worry. I have found similar options to share with you today! Here is a look at my decor last year!

I love using neutral knitted stockings on my mantel. They are timeless and can be used year after year. If you’re looking for a classic and neutral stocking, I’ve shared several options in a previous post here.

Last year, I selected the 7.5′ Yorkshire Fir Christmas Tree from King of Christmas. I love how it mimics the frasier fir trees from the mountains of North Carolina. I grew up selecting a natural tree every year and this tree was close to the frasier fir style!

The gold harmony bells were very popular last year and I am predicting you will see a lot of them this holiday season! I used them on my mantel but they are beautiful with wreaths, hanging on doors, hanging from the back of chairs, and more! The garland I used is no longer available but I’m sharing several other options as well.

Looking back, our living room decor has changed a lot in the past year. I replaced the sofas, chairs, and rug with a new set up. One thing I am missing this holiday season? The beautiful mirror that sat behind one of the sofas. It was a great setup with a simple wreath on the mirror. The mirror is still available and I’ve shared several similar wreaths in a previous post here.
