Newborn Session

Client Wardrobe
Having anyone, much less a photographer, come into your home ten short days after having a baby can be stressful. Caitlyn went above and beyond to take all of the stress out of the session.
One of the most stressful things about family photos is coordinating outfits. Several weeks before Theo’s due date, after an easy checklist of our style preferences, she sent over optional items for me to wear from her client wardrobe. I did not have to search for an outfit or plan a single thing. Furthermore, she sent over design boards for the rest of the family, with links to the outfits.
Calm & Professional
On the day of our photoshoot, she arrived with my favorite Starbucks drink and such an amazing attitude. My two year old was running rampant and I was a complete zombie. My husband was the ultimate “when is this going to be over” husband. In addition, I was trying to navigate the difficult process of breastfeeding. She was incredibly patient with our family and I never felt rushed during the session.
You would never guess what was going on in the background. Caitlyn’s love of light and film photography provided us with the best images of our family. She documented the grins and giggles, the snuggles and cautious looks, and the adoring love of a big brother. I will forever be grateful to have these memories captured. She obtained every little detail of Theo in his newborn stage for us to cherish for years to come.

The kids love Theo so much and Micah is constantly looking over him, acting as a protector at all times. I love how Caitlyn recorded these moments on film, showing how much Micah loves his little brother.
