We spend so much time in our home, especially these days, and I’m constantly looking for ways to freshen things up without breaking the bank. I know how it can be when you feel like you have to keep up with everyone on social media who seem like they can regularly restyle their entire homes. That’s one reason I love Walmart finds – I can add in a few new things here and there to keep my home interesting without blowing my budget. Keep reading to find out my current Walmart favorites and the best ways to update your home decor on a budget.
Outdoor Furniture Sets
One area that Walmart seems to really thrive in lately is outdoor furniture sets. Over the last few years there have been some amazing looks for less from high-end retailers like Serena & Lily. You can get the designer look at a fraction of the price with these sets, which I’m all about! The Lilah patio furniture set from Walmart is only $797 compared to the Salt Creek set from S&L for over $7,000 and the Paige patio furniture set at Walmart is $949 for a loveseat and two chairs compared to the Pacifica set from S&L for nearly $8,000.

Walmart has other options too if Serena & Lily isn’t your style. They have this cult classic set that went viral last year (back in stock now!), this modern coastal cane chat set, these trendy rope chairs, and even a few wood and wicker options if you like something a little more classic and timeless. I love that these are not only budget friendly, but also durable and high-quality.
On my own patio, I have this gorgeous Ashbrook teak dining table and wicker chairs from the Dave & Jenny Marrs collection with Better Homes and Gardens. We’ve had it for a year now and I’m seriously obsessed. It’s held up incredibly well in our unpredictable Charleston climate and the classic, yet coastal vibe is perfect for my home.

I love teak outdoor furniture for so many reasons: it’s water resistant, nearly rot and decay-proof, and termites hate it. It’s also pretty low maintenance and can be easily maintained with occasional oiling or sealing.
Kitchen Accessories for Less
It can be daunting to scroll Instagram and Pinterest and see images of gorgeous, perfectly styled kitchens that probably cost a small fortune to attain. That’s why I love this new line of Beautiful appliances by Drew Barrymore. They’re sleek, attractive, and extremely budget-friendly and give your kitchen a high-end look without breaking the bank.

I personally have had this gorgeous electric kettle for a few years now and use it every morning. I’ve also been eyeing this crockpot for awhile and might just have to pull the trigger. Who doesn’t want to make meal prep a little more enjoyable with pretty appliances at amazing prices? I personally love the white and gray, but this entire line also comes in more fun colors like light blue and green. If you’re looking for a new grad gift or housewarming present, these would be so perfect!

I always love a classic white bath towel, and these waffle weave ones from BH&G are so soft and plush. They give my bathroom a spa-like feel at an affordable price and add the perfect touch of luxury. They also come in a variety of other colors if white isn’t your thing.
Our family has been using these towels for several months. We have the striped blue and white which pair perfectly with our coastal home and I love that they’re a little more fun than the standard white for my kiddos. They’re perfect in a tray in the laundry room as well and add a nice pop of color!

This round natural tray is great for coffee tables and more. I’ve used it for serving and entertaining, storing books, and decorating with candles. It has such a classic and coastal style that I know will be popular for years to come. It would also make for a cute little gift basket option if you’re throwing together a present for a hostess, housewarming, or even a baby shower!
I have loved using these bsakets to store extra toys and blankets around our home. They come in a set of two and give me major designer vibes at a fraction of the cost (set of 2 for under $35!) – that’s what I’m talking about!

As a mom of three, I like to play it safe with flameless candles. These LED candles are available in several sizes and add the perfect touch of ambiance to any room. I love that they’re available in a true white and off-white to go with all different styles. They’re perfect styled on a tray or inside a wooden or woven hurricane.
I love these Abbott stoneware dishes from BH&G. We use them daily in our home and they hold up great to my kids and the dishwasher. They’re also beautiful for entertaining and so versatile throughout every season. I love dressing them up for the holidays or parties with a fun napkin, napkin ring, and charger or placemat!

Hello Amy,
I’m curious where you purchased the sofa in the above living room. I have been looking for a bench seat sofa with a chaise and it seems perfect. Thank you for your posts, enjoy them all.
Hi Vicki – You are so kind, I appreciate this message! It is from Celadon Home, a local purchase. Thanks – Amy
