Boys’ Coastal Bedroom Decor

I’m back with my latest splurge and save! This week I’m switching it up and sharing boys’ coastal bedroom decor. I’m also including splurge and save options for many of the items pictured. While I’m sitting here dreaming of a walk on the beach, I thought it would be fun to feature a room fit for the surfer dudes in your life!

Boys' Coastal Bedroom Mood Board! This coastal inspired bedroom is designed for a young boy, with fun artwork, functional furniture, and neutral colors.

Boys’ Bedroom Decor Inspiration

This 3 piece mako shark is a downloadable file from Prints by Jetty Home on Etsy. The navy faux bamboo dressers are from Wayfair and topped with two brass and marble table lamps from Amazon. On one nightstand, I placed a faux succulent from Target inside a natural woven planter from World Market. You will find a Surf Shack book topped with an alarm clock from Anthropologie on the opposite nightstand. Studio Mcgee just launched their new decor line at Target and I included three oversized navy pillows on the bed, with a boho lumbar pillow in front. There are several Jenny Lind style beds linked below, but I included this queen spindle bed for this design!

These striped upholstered benches are available at several retailers, I’m linking the best price here. Next, this diamond sisal rug from Pottery Barn is customizable with several different sizes available. The Serena & Lily stools are great for moving around and catching clutter from the kids. Here are two more reasonably priced oversized pillows from Target and West Elm. Every kid needs a fun lounger in their room, like this leather bean bag chair. “Pray for Surf” is another printable art option from Etsy. The natural rattan lamps are a new release from Pottery Barn and come in two different sizes. Finally, more artificial plants (here and here) are arranged on top of the Ikea Hemnes dresser.

One tip when searching for ways to save, try including different item descriptions in your search. For example, instead of searching for “Jenny Lind Bed,” try “spindle bed” instead. Another great place to search for furniture? Chairish, which offers one-of-a-kind items for your home.
