10 Vertical Shiplap Wall Ideas

Last week I shared inspiration and plans for our office makeover. One important piece of the project is installing vertical shiplap walls. While looking for inspiration, I found several beautiful homes with vertical shiplap. Today I’m sharing ten amazing accounts with beautiful shiplap in their homes.

Chloe from Boxwood Avenue has a beautiful post on her blog about her laundry room makeover. She installed vertical shiplap, removed linoleum flooring, upgraded appliances, and put in new cabinets and counters. This is a makeover that you do not want to miss!

I absolutely love this playroom by Gbeke at Simplicity for Designs. She installed pre-primed shiplap boards with nickel gaps in this room. I love how the vertical boards elevate overall the design of the room!

Jennifer from Making Pretty Spaces outlines how to measure for your shiplap project in her blog post. I am not a math girl and I love how she breaks it down for you to understand the measurements!

Brooke and Henry from Plank + Pillow created a dark shiplap accent wall for their home office. They provide instructions from start to finish, like how to paint the planks and how to to install them vertically. Naturally I adore the blue that they used for their accent wall!

Katie from Classically Dunn has a beautiful home that she shares on Instagram and her blog. She has created a such calm and peaceful space for her master bedroom, pictured above!

This beautiful kitchen is by Chelsey from Freng Party of 5. I love how the vertical shiplap sits behind the open wood shelves, adding texture to the kitchen!

Regan is one of my favorite moms to follow on Instagram and she also shares beautiful inspiration on her blog, The Blooming Nest. Regan and her husband Brett also started a new account, Behind The Blooming Nest, where they share the details for all of their projects. While I only shared one of her images, she has several vertical shiplap rooms for inspiration!

Lacie from Love Resides Here has a beautiful DIY account on Instagram. The contrast of her black cabinets against the vertical shiplap is stunning. She also has other rooms with vertical shiplap for inspiration!

BONUS // Serena & Lily

I’m sharing this Serena & Lily bedroom as inspiration because this is where the idea began! While I was flipping through their latest magazine, I fell in love with this image. I love the wide planks and how they trimmed it at the bottom. We have the same trim around our windows and this helped me picture the space!
